30/11/2024 - Parking brake cable cut, reconnect brake line - 3h

Cable cutting to final length after some more small tweaks. I clamped the cable in the parking brake kit arm and supporting adel clamp. Then taped some paper tape in the location where the cut should be. At the same time I measured the length of the remaining exposed push/pull cable. Then end of this cable will be bend 45° to prevent it from sliding through the brake arm.

Installed the adel clamps. One on the panel rib and one on the flange underneath the outer rib. The cable is rigid and 2 clamps are more than sufficient to keep it in place.

Fine tuned the brake line connection a bit more, this is now ready again for final install and torque. I use the hex technique to thighten these nuts. Finger tied and then 1 and a half hex turn.
