“No bird ever flew nonstop from New York to Tokyo, or raced 15 miles high at triple the speed of sound.
Birds do something else.   They do not conquer the air; they romance it..”

Installed the nutplates on the wheel pant fairings. Some time ago, I beefed up the attachment location with some additional layers of epoxy as indicated in the manual.

Now installed the nutplated that hold the intersection fairing in place on the wheel pant on the front side

and 2 on the rear side.

Reinstalled the wheelpant, this time with the actual fasteners and tinnerman washers

Added the intersection fairing. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Rear view clamped and ready to drill the screwhole that will attach both side together on the top rear of the intersection fairing.

This looks really cool. To bad I can't attach the top intersection fairing yet. On a RV7, you first need the cowling on.

Before drilling the hole in the top of the fairing I wanted to make sure the clamping was nicely closing the fairing in the top. I may have exagerated a bit on the cleco clamps...
