06/10/2023 - MK2000 nutplate install - 5h30

Drilled and countersunk the holes for the nut plate ears of the MK2000-6 nutplates that allow screwing the dynon modules to the instrument panel.

Used the pneumatic squeezer to rivet the nutplates in place.

Did a fit of the modules using #6 screws. These are not the dynon black screws but temporary testing screws. I only want to use the dynon screws upon final installation to keep them nice and clean.

Next I drilled the holes for the HDX1100 screen and installed the nutplates.

Temporarily installed the screen with the dynon allen-screws.

View from the back side. Still very open and clean here. This will definitily change when the electrical wiring will be installed.
