25-09-2023 - HDX1100 cutout and pushrod - 5h

Continued some work on the elevator pushrod. Installed the pop rivets to secure the threaded rod ends that hold the rod end bearings on the F789 elevator pushrod assembly.

Next I decided to continue on the panel cut outs. This is a dull task so I try to spread this work. I have drawn the location of the Dynon HDX1100 PFD and started drilling it out.

The easiest way to do this was to drill lots of small holles on the perimeter, use a cutting disc to do the final cutting and then use a phile to remove the left overs

In this image, the cutting was done and it's ready for the vixen phile.

After final cleaning, I temporarily fitted the screen. It looks very neat and clean.
