20+23/06/2023 - Drawing panel layout and drilling first holes for switches - 8h

Spent most of the time today on drawing the panel layout for all currently known instruments on the instrument panel.

When that was ready. I could determine the location of the switches and started drilling holes in the cockpit panel.
Used a unibit to drill to size.

Some switches installed. Looks very cool !

I also cut out the hole for the starter switch. This has a little tab that has to remain on the panel so that the entire switch would not rotate. So it's not a full size hole and you need to carefully file and remove metal.

Next drilled some more switches. I think all of them are there now. I have foreseen a landing light switch but not sure yet if I will install landing lights or not at first. At least it's there and better having it ready than having to find a spot for it later.
