Empennage has arrived ! 20/12/2010

On 20th of December, a snowy day in Belgium, the empennage kit arrived at my home. It took more then 2 weeks with FedEx with various delays due to the weather.

I'm really excited about this ! First task at hand is the inventory check. So far I could not detect any damage from transport on the outside .

The inventory check in itself took almost 2 hours. Everything is well packed and everything seemed to have made the trip ok.

Only one problem, the fibglass ertip of the elevater has a crack along the top. I will report that tomorrow to vans.

On the left all the structural parts together on the main shelf.

On the top shelf (right picture), the fiberglass tips  and small skin. I will keep the other skins in the main box until I need them.
