29/03/2025 - wheel pants sand, centerline and drill passenger side (p3) - 5h

Today, repeated the same procedure on the passenger side fairing as on the pilot side. My procedure worked well so I followed the same approach.
On the passenger side fairing, the gap on the joint was even bigger so it needs a lot of love to get it right. The image below shows the worst gap.

After some hours of work and a lot of epoxy dust later, the result looks like in the image below. Again made the reference lines across the parts to reposition the parts in the same location each time you fit and remove again.

Next, the laser leveling setup. For more details, read my previous post for the full story on how I did my workflow.

Fairing centered vertically between the 2 squares.

Then cross checked my centerline again by measuring from left and right side up. Distance between the marks is 2 1/2", the center line occurs near perfectly at 1 1/4"
The picture may not be perfect as the ruler wasn't fully presseed down on the mark. I'm confident my centerline is good.

Next positioned the drill holes and drilled the fairing to #40.
