18/04/2017 - more rivetting on forward fuselage 1 - 2h

More rivetting done on the forward fuselage. Cindy had some time this evening and after some time getting acquainted again with handling the gun, we set 2 more rows of rivets.

Set the F-902 bulkheads and the F-719 side stiffeners. I'm not setting all of them yet on the firewall side as I need to peel the skin backwards a bit later to apply some tank sealant in order to seal the firewall sides. This is done especially to keep fumes and carbon monoxide out of the cabin. I will install this sealant when I put the bottom skin on.

Here's an inside view.

and some more. Rivets look good and I could use the rivet sizes on the plan.
