Finishing VS - 18/08/2011

Today the inspection was completed so I can now - after long time untouched - finish of the vertical stabilo.

There was not much to be done on the stabilo. Only closing the rear spar and rivetting it to the skin and skeleton.

The midlle connection to the skeleton structure is done using LP4-3 pop rivets.

The bottom and top connection to the skeleton is with solid -4 rivets.

The rivets on the side, AN426-3-3.5 are sometimes difficult to set due to the interference with the hinges and already set rivets on the reinforcement spar. A little patience is helpfull here.

And then... the stabilo is finally completed and ready for storage until final assembly.
