Edge Prep an priming preparation - 26/02/2011 - 6h

Continued on the preparation of edges to get the priming started.
Jacques gave me a hand on sanding the edges of the stiffeners. I had to grind them down a little more on the end side as I noticed during match drilling they came still too close to eachother.

Also had to dimple some remaining holes where the dimpler couldn't reach. Did this with a machine maccountersunk hole as female side in a iron angle. Using the dimple bar, dimple male side and a hammer.

Finally gave the parts a little bath in sillikon entferner and then used the scotchbrite pads to scratch them.

A little tip when you are softening the edges of the skins or other parts.
If you grind some tracks in the small scotchbrite wheel on the die grinder, you can polish both sides at once. This works great !
