Right tank fuel leak test - 9/9/2012

On wed 5/9, I repeated the balloon test on the right side fuel tank.

This time, payed close attention to the setup of the test.

I measured the circumference of the balloon at the start of the test and measured 76cm

On sunday afternoon 9/9, I removed the balloon and it was still the same size. Peggy measured it as 77cm which may be a slight measuring error, or the difference of air temperature.

In any case, I concluded that this was a successfull test and that the right tank has no leaks !

I forgot to take pictures as I was very busy on Sunday trying to move the wings from the wing jig in the cradle. At the point we moved them to the cradle, the balloon was still on but I realised then that I would have to remove it to fit to the cradle.

This concludes the work on the fuel tanks.
