10/05/2024 - Empennage Fairing 6 + taillight wiring - 6h

Continued working on the wiring run of the elevator motor wiring and the empenage fairing.

I made an additional hole for a busing through F-710 bulkhead as I'm moving my SUB-connector one bay more backwards as initially planned. Touched up with primer as I damaged the initial primer a bit. Just used a brush so it looks a bit messy.

Then reinstalled the dsub connector plate for attaching the trim motor wiring. This makes it easy to disconnect and remove the elevator if needed. As you can see I initially installed it in the forward two lightning holes (left) but filled those up again with 2 "rivets to nowhere"

Bottom view of the connector and wiring run through the new hole in F-710 bulkhead. The wires running through this are: temperature sensor, trim motor multiconductor and aeroled suntail multiconductor.

The aeroled suntail connector wire runs through the  F-711 secured by and adel clamp.

It creates no disturbance for the elevator pushrod and goes straight down behind the F-711 to exit low on the F-712 final bulkhead.
