Continued work on the electric aileron trim. Today installed the nutplates on the trim bracket and clamped the nylon block in it's position on the bracket in order to drill the hole for the mounting screw in the bracket.
Countersunk the vertical hole so that the top op the screw doesn't interfere.
Final installed the trim arm and secured the cotterpin.
Hole made and dimpled on the trim bracket. Trim arm ready for final install.
Temporarily screwed the trim bracket in place for a test of the arm movement. This will have to come out again while working on the attachment of the electric motor which will rest on the left side seat rib.
Screw installed and made some centerline. This centerline will help centering the front of the arm in order to find the neutral position. This is kind of eye balling it by aiming the two small holes for the spring attachment in the front of the arm between where the center line is drawn on the bracket.
