The pitot line and aoa line are two hard plastic lines that pass from wing rib to wing rib through some snap bushings in the left wing.
At the last bay, the lines pass underneath the aileron bellcrank. The distance between the ribs is to long to provide for a proper support of the lines and I did notice some potential for interference of the lines with the bellcrank.
Or at least touching. Which would lead to wear by vibration. Therefor I decided to make a little extra attach bracket to support the two lines right underneath the bellcrank.
I used some 0.032 stock sheet and marked the area needed.
Then used the little bending brake from home depot to make a nice 90 degree bend.
Did some measuring and marking which part has to be trimmed away and drilled two corner holes for rounding.
Went couple of time back and forward to the wing to check the width and fit.
Then removed the aileron bellcrank and used that as drill guid. First hole was faily easy. Just use the aileron bellcrank bracket as drill guide.
Then reassembled the bellcrank hinge and clamped the other bracket. This ensures the correct spacing between the two holes.
Drilled two holes for the bushings
Et voila, a home made bracket.
After fit install, I decided to make another hole in the middle as it looked even better when the pitot line (green) would be a bit higher.
Finally withthe time left, I primed some small remaining parts including the new bracket.
