No bird ever flew nonstop from New York to Tokyo, or raced 15 miles high at triple the speed of sound.
  But birds do something else.
They do not conquer the air; they romance it.

Some decisions in life are bare of any obvious logic

Did some more rivetting on the left wing inner bottom skin. My parts from Vans finally arrived so now I can continue thinking on fully closing this sucker down.

I had to be pretty sure about the pitot line routing. The way they are arranged in the picture below makes that the two lines are not touhing or chafing.
I installed an adel clamp on the main spar (actually enlared an already existing pilot hole and attached the adel with a 8R8 screw and washer and nut on the other side.
This just ensure that the line would not move around by vibration.

The SB 16-03-28 parts finallty made it to my home (it's corona times here and everything is delayed. On top of that my first shipment got lost by US Postal and had to be resend).

I cleaned up the parts, deburred and installed them on the rear spar for match drilling. No big deal. Deburred the holes and scuffed them up for priming tomorrow.

I also noticed that in the front of the cabin, the vent lines were touching the F7105-B outboard sub panels. Should have bend them a bit lower when I made them. Good reminder for the next RV7 I will build (yeah right...)

I marked the places that interfere and carefully filed a bit away.

Same issue on the other side. I deburred it all and reinstalled. Looks very good now. Enough spacing not to cause any touching by vibration.

Same other side. The amount taken away is really small. Will touch it up with some primer.

Continued some more rivetting as well. This is about as far as I can go in L shape before the outer wing skin must go on as well. So time for a final inspection of the outboard section of the wing.

How to use

Use the kit buttons in the top ribbon bar to see a chronological overview per sub section per kit. For the full chronological article list, see chronological build link in prelude menu here below. The easiest way to lookup information is by typing in some part numbers or keywords using the search option in the ribbon bar
