No bird ever flew nonstop from New York to Tokyo, or raced 15 miles high at triple the speed of sound.
  But birds do something else.
They do not conquer the air; they romance it.

Some decisions in life are bare of any obvious logic

Combining the images of some short work sessions.

Positioned the TRIG transponder head in a convenient location near the HDX screen. TRIG provides a convient template sticker to facilitate the cutout.

After cutting out, this is how it looks like with the control module in place.

I have been bugging my head for a while on the rotation of the control switches. I found and ordered some anti rotation washers at Steinair and decided the best way to do this was to add an additional layer behind the panel where I could drill a hole for the anti rotation notch to fit in . This will make the notch invisible from the forward side and still perform it's locking feature. Here is a look of the switch panel from the back. The image below is now sharp in the right place but if you look well, you see the small additional hole for the locking key of the antirotation washer below the switch hole.

With the switch in place now, it can no longer turn or move.

Will do this for every switch in the lover end of the panel and repeat the doubler also for the trim disconnect switch middle left of the panel.

Put all back in place. The panel starts looking real good.

I also installed the serial data connection line between the VPX serial line and serial 1 RX/TX pins of the Dynon D37 connector. VPX seems to send and transmit packages.
The on screen module itself  is still not working as I discovered that you need to order a seperate license key for VPX usage in Dynon. A bit stupid... all users with a dynon are using VPX, why not just include it into the price on purchase.

All it did now was cost more, and cause some additional delay.
