No bird ever flew nonstop from New York to Tokyo, or raced 15 miles high at triple the speed of sound.
  But birds do something else.
They do not conquer the air; they romance it.

Some decisions in life are bare of any obvious logic

Now that aft and center fuselage are joined, and side skins are clecoed on, it's time to prepare and matchrdrill the armrests.
Many builders have modified this part and added extra support underneath the armrest to avoid bending armrests over time.

I have decided to wait until I have my upholstry delivered because I think that the upholstry may provide extra support making it unnecessary to add extra weight to the plane.
And less weight is better performance...

After deburring the edges and notches on the armrest parts, you need to flute between the predrilled holes to straighten the line of holes that will butt against the side skins.

This is the best way to check straightness... hold on the side and check if the line of holes is straight. Easy...

Then installed the armrest on the fuselage assembly. Looking great.

Then, matchdrilled side skin and holes on the F705. You need to drill one extra hole that is not predrilled. Not clear to me what they left it out but... no big deal.

I did not drill the hole on the forward side at F704 as some additional covers need to be added. The manual does not mention these right now so decided to wait with that until we get to that point.

Then removed the armrests again. Deburred the drilled holes and dimpled the armrests.

They can be removed and stowed for now.

How to use

Use the kit buttons in the top ribbon bar to see a chronological overview per sub section per kit. For the full chronological article list, see chronological build link in prelude menu here below. The easiest way to lookup information is by typing in some part numbers or keywords using the search option in the ribbon bar
