10/05/2025 - Wheel pant fairings (part 8) - 7h

I countersunk all holes in the pilot and passenger side wheel pants. These will be installed with tinnerman washers.

When all was countersunk, I checked and remeasured alignment for a final time.

i also rivetted the outer bracket to the outside inner skin of the wheelpant.
Overall, this alignment turns out to be perfect.

I took little pictures today but this is the bracket that got rivetted to the reinforced side skin.

I also did the rivetting on the passenger side.
After measuring there, I keep getting a 0.5cm misalignment of the tail of that tail pant.

I decided to close the inner side holes defining the angle again and will give it another attempt in drilling next session.
